Buying a generator for your self is not a difficult task.But knowingthe original one to buy.There are so many companies in the world who produce's generator and there are some good products among those companies.
You can't identify a good gen by its appearance alone,but by some fictions of its look.
What are those fiction?
1.You can preview the identification through the label on the tank.
The original tiger(TG950) always have a two written alphabet(TM) on top of the label on the tank.
2.The bolt that is been used to tie the whole part of the gen is always white in color and there are two written alphabet(KS) on the bolt,while that of the low quality is always black in color with no written word nor alphabet on it.
3.And the carton of the gen is always brown in color while that of the imitation is always colored
4.On the label,the name tiger is written in a bold form and it has no tiger head picture on it while that of the imitation(Taiwan) has a drawn carve of a tiger head on it.
5.The original tiger don't have a fuel gage on it but that of the imitation(Taiwan) has.
This is the low quality generator,if u watch very well u will see the difference between the two generators.This one has a tiger head pic on the label while the original does not.
U will also see that the bolt been used to tie the tank is black in color while the original tiger(TM) is white in color.
I believe that with the above little tips i have offered, you wont be a victim of buying an imitation generator(Taiwan)
